Under the challenges of population growth， consumption upgrading， and resource constraints， the Big Food Concept serves as a new concept to safeguard national food security and improve people's livelihoods. By restructuring the food supply system and promoting food industry transformation， it provides theoretical support and practical directions for the inheritance and innovation of the food industry. Focusing on the Big Food Concept， this paper explored food diversification， the dual-oriented development of technological innovation empowering food flavor and health， the coordinated path of traditional craftsmanship inheritance and modern industrial innovation， as well as future trends in the food industry. It summarized China's food industry development process under the guidance of Big Food Concept and proposes new requirements for the industry's future advancement.
